Then went to the TV and there was the TV show & Movie running perfectly (mind you only 3min of each). It only converts 3min of content of which I did a TV show & a Movie both Downloaded in iTunes 12.6, converted and then moved over to another computer and added to my family PLEX server. I tried others and they didn't work (I did get a refund from Aimersoft), but the trail version of TunesKit did work. I decided to go with TunesKit M4V Converter.
Something less than 12.9 - I went all the way to 12.6 so I could also gain access to my Apple TV 1st Gen (I did this all on a separate computer in case of any issues). įirst, I needed to change my iTunes to an older version. I've spent a lot over the years at the iTunes store and would like to continue enjoying those items outside of the Apple Universe.
If anyone has any knowledge (or knows someone who does) about doing this, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm running iTunes Version 12.9.5.7 on Windows 8.1 (for most I'm reading that I have to get an earlier version of iTunes). Am I right to understand that most of these 'removal' programs don't actually remove the DRM, just fool it - so you can't move the item off the computer that has iTunes on it? I was able to convert Music Videos from iTunes (I think they are DRM) and add them to my PLEX server, but no such luck with TV shows & Movies - the audio records, but the screen is just black.
